Presented October/ November 2011
click on photosFor this Halloween, OFF THE WALL THEATRE presented the most outlandish show we have ever done:
a stage version of
That's right the famous cult favorite that starred Bette Davis and Joan Crawford was presented live on our stage starring Jeremy Welter and Mark Hagen as Bette Davis (Jane) and Joan Crawford (Blanche.) The Hudson sisters battled once again. Blanche was served a dead rat for dinner!
Jane sag her childhood hit,"I've Written a Letter to Daddy!" The housekeeper was murdered with a hammer! Wheelchair bound Blanche crawled across the floor to try to reach the telephone. Everything you remember from the whackiest horror film ever made was brought to life on our stage.
AND NOT ONLY THAT! JEREMY WELTER AND MARK HAGEN SWITCHED ROLES AT ALTERNATE PERFORMANCES! THAT'S RIGHT. YOU HEARD CORRECTLY. You should have seen this show twice! Also in the cast were Donna Lobacz, Lawrence Lukasavage, Barbara Weber, Tom Welcenbach, Sandra Stark, Sandy Lewis, and others.
HAS THERE EVER BEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN OUR SEDATE LITTLE CITY?
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? IT WAS A SCREAM!
