Joseph was composed and performed by the young Webber and Rice in England, then moved to America as an Off Broadway show with an all male cast in the 1970ís, and finally came to Broadway in 1982 starring Bill Hutton and Laurie Beechman. In 1992 Donny Osmond took over the roll of Joseph in a revamped version of the show that made it a Super-hit and a fan favorite of people of every age.

Off The Wall Theatre Artistic Director, Dale Gutzman, staged the show as one of the very first Off the Wall productions, and he later mounted a huge production for His Majesty the King of Thailand.

This time around, Off The Wall Theatre actor Karl Miller directed and choreographed Joseph with a new twist and flair that pleased people from the ages of 10 to 110 and a cast that knocked their socks off!

Karl rounded up a cast of fine young performers from First Stage, Oconomowoc High School, Greendale High School, UW Stevens Point, UW Milwaukee, UW Madison and AMDA Los Angeles to play the Brothers and Female Maidens, along with several professional Actors often seen on Milwaukee stages.

Calum Bedborough a Theater Major at UW Stevens Point played Joseph, and Stage Veteran Kamilah Lay played The Narrator. Off The Wall regular Larry Lukasavage played Jacob, the father of Joseph and his 11 brothers, Parker Cristan channelled his finest Elvis as Pharaoh, and UW Milwaukee grad Cleary Breunig dazzled all with his over the top Potiphar. Alicia Rice, previously seen at OTWT in GIGI, played the sexy Mrs. Potiphar who seduces Joseph. Kelly Doherty led the Female Ensemble with her comic and musical talents.

The very talented Milwaukee favorite Chris Wszalek brought his expertise back to Off The Wall as Musical Director.
